Tahnee Lonsdale

Tahnee Lonsdale is a painter born in Reading, England in 1982. She began her art career at Byam Shaw School of Art, earning a Bachelor's degree in fine arts in 2007. She currently lives in Los Angeles. Lonsdale's works feature semi-abstract narratives created with vibrant colors. Her paintings incorporate imaginative figures and architectural elements, adorned with religious, literary, and artistic references. Her works invite the viewer on an emotional and spiritual journey. In 2024, the artist presented her solo exhibition "a billion tiny moons" at Night Gallery. In the same year, she also participated in a group exhibition at Alexander Berggruen alongside Raul De Lara, Shanique Emelife, and Sihan Guo.
