Seo Young-Deok

Seo Young-Deok is a sculptor born in South Korea in 1983. He graduated from the Department of Environmental Sculpture at the University of Seoul in 2008. In his art, he creates realistic human figures using metal chains from industrial machines and bicycles. These figures offer a powerful yet peaceful effect to the viewer. Seo's works are featured in important collections such as Alembic Pharmaceuticals LTD in India, the DSB s.r.l. group in Italy, the Sungkok Art Museum and Gallery Hyundai in South Korea. He also participated in an exhibition titled "Urban Renewal" at Opera Gallery. Seo Young-Deok is an artist who seeks a deep expression of the physical and psychological structure of human beings in his art.
