Michael John Kelly, an American artist, was born in Provo, Utah in 1975 and currently lives in Los Angeles, California. His art focuses on exploring the object phenomenon in abstraction, attributing intelligence and personality to these objects. His work is inspired by anime, video games, and post-punk music. The artist describes his works as "a post-punk wall of sound where anime, video games, and Willem de Kooning meet." He continues to live and work in Los Angeles.
