Felix R. Cid is an artist born in Madrid, Spain in 1976. He completed his graduate program at the International Center of Photography in New York in 2005 and received his MFA in photography from Yale University School of Art in 2012. He works in a shipping container on a Mediterranean island, in a work environment he calls "El Canpo." This environment reflects the influences of both nature and the challenging surroundings. Cid's works have been exhibited internationally, including at Allouche Gallery's exhibitions in New York. They have also been offered for sale at major auction houses such as Phillips. The artist's works are held in prestigious collections such as the Guggenheim Museum and the Museum of Modern Art.
