Elladj Lincy Deloumeaux

Elladj Lincy Deloumeaux, born in Guadeloupe in 1995, is one of the brightest names of the young generation, pursuing his art in France, shaped by his education at the Paris École des Beaux-Arts. In his works, he combines Caribbean identity, the memory of the African diaspora, and the daily rituals of "Antillean" culture with figurative painting and still life elements. The flora he uses, symbolic objects, and the silent yet powerful stance of his figures lend a mystical and spiritual atmosphere to his paintings, while elegantly questioning the colonial past and concepts of belonging. During this period of rapid ascent in his career, Deloumeaux, who actively exhibits between Paris and international art centers, works with prestigious institutions such as Mariane Ibrahim Gallery. In his recent works, the artist delves deeper into Afro-Caribbean spirituality and the theme of returning to one's roots, opening solo exhibitions on a global axis stretching from Dakar to Chicago. Deloumeaux continues to build a new and original visual language that brings the cultural heritage of his generation to the forefront of contemporary art.
