Daniel Arsham

Daniel Arsham, born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1980, grew up in Miami, Florida. His interest in art led him to study at Cooper Union in New York, where he received the Gelman Trust Fellowship Award in 2003. The artist produces works in various disciplines, including sculpture, architecture, drawing, and film. His works revolve around the concept of "future relics of the present" and draw inspiration from archaeology, architecture, and cinema. Specifically, he reflects how nature takes over structures and the dynamism created in this process, in worlds he creates with elements such as eroded walls and stairs that lead nowhere. In 2007, he co-founded Snarkitecture with Alex Mustonen, where he developed architectural and artistic projects. He is also known for his collaborations with brands such as Adidas, Dior, and Porsche. Daniel Arsham's works have been exhibited in prestigious institutions such as the Pérez Art Museum in Miami and the Athens Biennale, and have been featured in world-renowned galleries.
