ZEYNEP YAZICI

Born in 1977, Zeynep Yazıcı graduated from Niğde University, Department of Architecture. She has been pursuing her painting career professionally since 2004. Having had the opportunity to live in different geographies around the world, the artist states that these experiences have contributed to the development of the visual language she uses in her works. In Yazıcı’s works, the concepts of human, nature, and freedom stand out. The artist approaches painting not only as a formal production area but also as a form of emotional and intellectual expression. In her compositions, the balance between form and color is constructed within a natural and fluid structure. The use of color and surface arrangement aims to establish a direct contact with the viewer. In her works, where an intuitive atmosphere prevails rather than a distinct narrative, the viewer is given space to relate to the work through their own experience. Yazıcı, who attaches importance to thematic integrity, focuses on the effect she aims to create during the production process. Her works offer a calm yet profound perspective on the individual's relationship with life and their surroundings.
