SEÇKİN CEBECİ

Born in Ankara on February 24, 1988, the artist began his education in the Graphic Design Department at Bilkent University. During this period, he focused on analog photography and printing techniques, developing his visual perception and technical knowledge. With the transformation brought by the digital age, he continued photography as a hobby. In 2010, he further integrated photography and design disciplines by studying "Photography and Design" at the School of Visual Arts University. The artist, who pursued photography as a hobby for nearly ten years, brought a different dimension to his productions in 2017 with a new generation camera he acquired. Thanks to the technical proficiency and perspective he gained during this period, he began to share his works with a wider audience. In the same year, he received his first invitation to a group exhibition in the photography world and held his first solo exhibition just one month later. The artist's photographs present a strong visual language and unique aesthetic, also influenced by his graphic design background. Especially the works in his solo exhibition draw the audience into a different reality with their atmospheres reminiscent of the films Inception and The Matrix. This cinematographic and fictional approach has become the artist's signature and has been highly appreciated by viewers. Continuing to reflect the experiences gained from exploring the world and interacting with different cultures in his productions, the artist aims to offer the viewer an extraordinary and impressive visual experience each time.
