NEJAT SATI
Born in Izmir in 1982, Nejat Satı is an artist who focuses on the physical limits of materials and their relationship with light, creating deep and transparent surfaces with acrylic and gel layers. His works, where form melts and color transforms into an atmospheric depth, offer a meditative visuality extending from micro-universes to macro landscapes. He questions how visual perception can be manipulated and the inherent existence of color by turning material research into an art object. Continuing his productions in Izmir and Istanbul, Satı creates experimental works in his latest studies that incorporate the physical changes of light on the surface directly into his exhibition practices. He actively continues his artistic life with new series in which he blends the poetry of material with technological possibilities and leaves the viewer alone with the light.
