Fashion and Art Collaboration by Ace Nayman and Şahin Demir
DG Art Gallery & Project hosted a special collaboration bringing together fashion and contemporary art. The “Bloomscape” project, which brought together Ace Nayman and contemporary artist Şahin Demir, was realized as an interdisciplinary production process where the artwork inspired fashion design.
The project began with a creative dialogue sparked by a piece Demir created especially for Ece Nayman. Demir's abstract compositions and layered color language inspired a five-piece capsule series developed for Ace Nayman's Fall/Winter 25-26 collection. The collection, consisting of a T-shirt, sweatshirt, hat, bag, and scarf, was designed with original prints adapted from the artist's work.
The oil painting produced as part of “Bloomscape” served as the main reference point, representing the intersection of art and fashion. The project aimed to bring together two distinct creative fields around a shared aesthetic language.
The collection was unveiled to the press, collectors, and guests at a special event held at DG Art Gallery & Project. The limited-edition capsule collection is available at select retail locations and the brand's digital platforms.
